If you're at all like me...

... there's no such thing as too much Beastie Boys. A fine (edited) megamix by Z-Trip. The full version is here: http://ztrip.bandcamp.com/

An attempt at a return to normal service

I've let the ould blog slide of late, due to a number of factors. No doubt it'll slide again after Elvis is born, but I'll actively try to keep this updated til then.

Anyway, this is a song I've loved for years, but, for some reason, I didn't know who sang it. I heard it at work today and remembered what a cracking song it is. Enjoy!

A little project Gail and I have been working on.

I think it's safe to say that it's our finest work to date.

The Adventures Of Nescobar Mo'Jesus On The Wheels Of Steel

I've been thinking of doing another mix since my Best of 2010, but time, and circumstances, conspired against me. So here, slightly later than I had intended, is my new mix.

I've been reading a lot about hip-hop lately (thanks to some excellent books I got for Christmas), and am rediscovering the stuff I grew up with. This mix is made up of stuff from the mid-eighties to the mid-nineties. It's the stuff that reminds me of first discovering hip-hop, as well as some stuff from the period I missed until later on.

So, anyway, enjoy the beats.

Peace.
